Front office supervisor needed for busy, prestigious, 2 doctor cosmetic derm practice on the UCLA campus.
Duties: supervise front office staff, answer phones, schedule appointments and procedures, oversee general flow of the office, preparing billing, general office concierge.
We are looking for a very sophisticated person for this position.
You must have at least 2 years experience running the front office in a cosmetic derm or plastics office to be qualified for this position.
Must be comfortable working with very high profile patients and
celebrities.
Hours, 8-5, M-F
Salary: $16-20 + med ins., comm., holidays/sick/vacation.
2. Front Office Receptionist and Accounting Clerk.
Front office receptionist and accounting clerk needed for well-known plastic surgeon in Marina del Rey and Palos Verdes. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in plastics or derm.
FO Duties: answering phones, scheduling appointments and procedures.
Acct. duties: basic a/r, a/p, filing, typing, photocopying.
2 days in PV, 3 days in MDR.

Hours: 4, 10-hour days, M-F.

Medical Assistant
9. Medical Assistant. UCLA Campus. Cosmetic Dermatology Practice.
Duties: room patients, vital signs, assisting the doctor with surgeries, specifically MOHS surgeries. This office deals with high-profile and celebrity patients and needs someone who can handle this type of personality. Very fast-paced environment. 3 doctor practice.
Hours: 8-5, M-F
Salary: $15+ DOE plus health insurance, pension plan, quarterly bonus, commission on product sales.
10. Medical Assistant/Surgery Scheduler. Marina del Rey. Orthopedic Surgeon.
Duties: scheduling surgeries, procedures, rooming patients, assisting the doctor with procedures, ordering supplies, labs.
Hours: 9-6 or 8:30-5:30

Physician’s Assistant
11. Physician’s Assistant. Upland. Orthopedic Surgery.
Duties: Casting, splinting, closed reductions, read x-rays, injections, writing prescriptions, some narcotics prescriptions. Ortho surg experience is required.
Hours: 8:30-5:30 (6:00 some days)

Plastic Surgery Consultant
12. Plastic Surgery Patient Coordinator. Santa Monica. Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Duties: Phones, surgery scheduling, financial planning. Explaining procedures. Receptionist duties. Not a hard core sales position. Requires someone with a really good heart and who is empathetic to people.
Must have experience working in a plastic surgery office, especially working with cancer patients or reconstructive surgery patients.
Hours: 8-5
Salary: $25-28/hr., plus full benefits.
